Deposits, Cancellations & Refunds:

A deposit of one night (plus 9% state tax) is required at time of reservation, We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover for deposit, and you may also pay any balance due by personal or travelers checks, or cash.

If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, cancellation notice is required 30 days in advance of arrival date to obtain a refund of deposit less cancellation fee. With less notice 30 days or less, we will only refund your deposit if we are able to rent the room to another party. Any rooms canceled will be charged a $15.00 cancellation Fee.

The cancellation policy also applies to changes in your arrival/departure date which result in a shorter stay, and no refunds are provided for late arrivals or early departures.

Check-in is 3pm to 7pm. Arrangements can be made for late arrival.
Check-out is by 11am.

CHECK – OUT: NO LATER THAN 11 A.M. on the last morning of your stay.

Please do let us know if your plans conflict with these times. In many cases we can be somewhat flexible if we know in advance what our guests’ needs are.

DEPOSIT: We do require a valid MasterCard or Visa credit card number to hold your room. If you do not have a credit card, please send us a personal check for the amount of one night lodging.

CANCELLATION: For most stays, 14 days notice is required to cancel your reservation. Exceptions are holiday weekends, weekends in July, August, September and October and certain other occasions during which we may have had to turn potential guests away because there is “no room at the Inn.” At those times, no less than thirty days is required, unless we are able to fill your reservation with other guests.

SMOKING: For the comfort and safety of all, we are a non-smoking facility. We do have seating areas and butt receptacles around the grounds; please feel free to use them. Please be aware that if we find that you have smoked in your guest room, we will charge your credit card for no less than one night lodging (more if professional cleaning is required).

PETS: We do love pets, but realize that there may be guests with allergies or other issues with allowing dogs and cats to stay in the B&B. We compromise—we have 1 guest room where pets are allowed to stay. Please be advised that if you do plan on bringing your well-mannered pet to ask in advise for the “pet-friendly room.”

CHILDREN: We love to have children of all ages visit. Please do advise us no less than 24 hours in advance if special preparations are needed to accommodate your children.


A delicious complimentary breakfast is served each morning of your stay at the Cornish Inn. Breakfast is served between 8:30 AM and 9:30 AM. Let us know in advance if you have any dietary restrictions.
