Check-in & Check-out
CHECK-IN: Check-in is 3 pm to 7 pm. We can accommodate late arrival, but for the comfort of our other guests, arrangements must be made with the front desk before the arrival date.
CHECK – OUT: Before 11 A.M. on the last morning of your stay. Late check-out can sometimes be accommodated, but we have to be considerate of incoming guests.
Please note that we do not accept same-day reservations after 8pm and for the comfort of our other guests, there are no check-ins after 10pm unless arrangements are made with us ahead of time.
A deposit of $50 is required to confirm your reservation. The reservation website will ask for your credit card information, but for your added security will NOT ask for the CVV number on the back of the card. We will call you directly and ask for the CVV number and your permission to charge the $50 deposit. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express for deposit, and you may also pay any balance due by cash.
If your plans change after your reservation is confirmed, please notify us of cancellation at least 7 days in advance of arrival time, and we will refund the deposit. You can notify by email (email@example.com) or phone 207-625-9499. For a reservation of the entire inn during peak season, cancellation notice is required 6 months or greater in advance of the reservation date for a refund.
This is a 200-year-old building, so for the comfort and safety of all, we are a non-smoking facility, including the porch. We do have seating areas and butt receptacles around the grounds; please feel free to use them. Please be aware that if we find that you have smoked in your guest room, we will charge your credit card for no less than one-night lodging (more if professional cleaning is required).
We do love pets but realize that there may be guests with allergies or other issues with allowing dogs and cats to stay in the B&B. There are local kennels that can board your pets during your stay.
People of all ages are welcome.
The Inn is not currently equipped for handicap access. We are working to install ramps for access to the first-floor restaurant, porch, and common areas, and hope to have elevator access to guest rooms in the future. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes.
